Morning and Happy Humpday! Stoked to be posting up about a brand new EP from the homie Jus Frais, as he always delivers a solid release! I could give you an explanation of it all, but this blurb says it best:

"Lullabies & Other Bedtime Stories is the second Solo recording from Toronto-based Superproducer/MC Jus Frais. Clocking in at 8 tracks, the album finds Jus and his co-conspirators treading familiar territory thematically while exploring a whole new sonic landscape, heavily influenced by the electronic music scene in Montreal. Cory Lee's "Best Shot" Gets The Andy Dixon Remix

Whaddup peoples, I gotta banger for y'all today! Just in time for your Saturday night parties, dance floors are sure to be jammin' with the release of this new Andy Dixon Remix for Cory Lee's latest single "Best Shot" feat. Shaggy. As you might recall from previous posts here, Cory signed an international contract with Universal music in 2011 and her 6 song EP was just released in Asia with many more territories to follow. "Best Shot" was her first single from said EP, and though I'm a big fan of the original version, this remix takes it in a completely different direction.. and it's really good! Vancouverite Andy Dixon brings his decade of experience in the DIY experimental punk/electronic scene to the table with this track, and shows just what he's made of! Royce Da 5'9 Live In Stratford Tonite With Spesh K, Nukky Grissom + More!

Hello & good Friday morning everyone! I'm stoked to be letting y'all know about tonight's BIG SHOW in Stratford, Ontario.. and I'm stoked it's not about Bieber.. haha.. Nope, it's all about 1/4 of the SlaughterHouse machine, 1/2 of the Bad Meets Evil duo, Mr. Nine-Nickel himself, Royce da 5'9. Fresh off multiple tours and now moving through Canada, Royce will be throwing down classics all night, along with opening acts Spesh K, Nukky Grissom, Tha Paperchaser, Jux Cain, and DJ Huggy holding down the decks. Thank You Now.

So here we are once again, collectively thinking about all that was done this year.. and maybe what wasn't as well.. Because no matter what successes you reach in a 365-day span, you'll always be wanting more and looking for what's next.. This definitely rings true for myself, though I'm also grateful for everything me, my company, and everyone I've been worked with this year has been able to do. From satisfying my own personal goal of closing The Wrecked Room and building a new studio in downtown Toronto, to releasing three albums (The City "Disco Nights" / Spesh K "Big Special's House" / "The Best Of The Wrecked Room Vol.II") droppin' a couple mixtapes, plus a whole lotta shows & videos, it's been one hell of a busy year. That said, re-invention of self is key to success and I'm looking for bigger and better ways to do it in 2012. Before I go, I'd just like to thank all the artists, producers, promoters, etc. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this year, and of course to all the good people who have shown support for that work. Much Respect.
